What can I expect?
The California Dharma Celebration consists of teachings, empowerments and meditations on modern Kadampa Buddhism. Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of experience. Besides the teaching and meditation program, the celebration also provides a precious opportunity to meet and practice with like-minded people from all over the region. You will come away refreshed, relaxed and spiritually energized.
Where exactly is the center located?
Kadampa Meditation Center LA is located at 4953 Franklin Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027, nestled in a quiet neighborhood bridging East Hollywood and Los Feliz. It is accessible from Highway 101 to the South and Interstate-5 from the East.
There is a Metro bus stop at Franklin & Edgemont Ave., one block East of the center. Street parking is also available but subject to local restrictions – see signage when parking.
