At this special event,Gen Kelsang Rigpa, the Western United States National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU., will grant the empowerment of the Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden.
Dorje Shugden, our Dharma protector, is a manifestation of all Buddhas’ wisdom and compassion. He is’s our supreme spiritual friend, protecting our personal experience of Dharma, and helping to transform the conditions of our life into the spiritual path. Dorje Shugden is a powerful being who helps us in ways both seen and unseen so that we can become the confident, positive and beneficial person we wish to be.
What is an Empowerment?
The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we connect to the Wisdom Buddha Dorje Shugden’s enlightened mind. By receiving these inspiring blessings, our own potential for wisdom, love, and spiritual power grows as we gain the confidence and conditions we need to make progress on the spiritual path. Through the power of Dorje Shugden’s protection, blessings and special care we can definitely realize the greatest meaning of this precious human life.
Whether new to Buddhism or an experienced practitioner, everyone is welcome to this weekend celebration. The event will be streamed online from Los Angeles at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood.
